Professor Ji Xinying from Henan University Won Chinese Overseas Contribution Award

All-China Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese reported that, on May 21st, Professor Ji Xinying, member of the standing committee of He Nan’s tenth All-China Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, also the vice-president of School of Basic Medicine of Henanuniversity, won the Seventh Chinese Overseas Contribution Award.

It was reported that, with the recommendation of United Front Work Department of HenanUniversity and the Kai Feng’s Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, Professor Ji, along with other 12 candidates, representing millions of other countrymen in He Nan province, was in the nation final election of Chinese Overseas Contribution Award. By virtue of numerous devoting deeds he did for Overseas Federation, He Nan medical field and HenanUniversity, Professor Ji received wide appreciation from the judges of experts committee. After closed appraisal, Professor Ji ultimately became one of 104 nationwide prizewinners, gained the second prize and was recommended to be a candidate of the special-invited experts of All-China Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese.

Returning to China in 2009, Professor Ji was employed by HenanUniversity’s School ofMedical Sciences. During the past 9 years, Professor Ji had made great contributions in recruiting high-level personnel, platform construction, post-graduate cultivation, scientific researches, community feedback and so on. His scientific research laboratory was approved as a Nucleoprotein Gene International United Laboratory, in December, 2017, with several high-level SCI essays been published. In the meanwhile, as a returned overseas Chinese, Professor Ji was extremely patriotic, humble and accommodating. His noble characteristics deeply influenced students and teachers in our college. With the growing learning trend, a kind and friendly atmosphere was formed in our college.

He also held the post of the vice-president of the School ofMedical Sciences, the director of He Nan Nucleoprotein Gene International United Laboratory, vice-chairman of He Nan Immunological Societies, Chairman of committee of He Nan Infection and Molecular Immunology Association, and the Deputy Director of He Nan Joint Committee on Cancer of Precise Tumor. He devoted himself to carrying forward Nucleoprotein PCNP Project, being the very first person who successfully cultivated a mice breed with no PCNP gene, accompanying with a patent of it. What’s more, Professor Ji made huge breakthroughs in PCNP, molecular mechanism of infectious weak diaphragm and tumor prohibition, receiving worldwide appreciation.
