In order to actively respond to the requirements of the Propaganda Department of the Party Committee of the School, to gain a thorough understanding of the great historical achievements in the reform and opening up and the construction of socialism with Chinese characteristics since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, and to set off a wave of profound study of the theory of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era by Xi Jinping and the spirit of the 19^thCPC National Congress, at 10:25 a.m. on May 8, a group of 100 professors, teachers, and student representatives from the School of Basic Medical Science watched the documentary “Amazing China” in the studio of the 6th floor.

The film not only illustrates the world-renowned achievements and milestone development in different aspects as China Bridge, China Road, China Car, China Port, China Network, etc., but also shows that China’s basic medical security system, Poverty Alleviation Projects, China’s Western Campaign, South-to-North Water Diversion, and strong military strategy can bring us happiness, sense of acquisition, and security through a series of stories, figures and data.

During the process of enjoying the movie, the teachers and students looked concentrated and kept their eyes open. Their constant cheers could not hide their excitement. After the meeting, teachers and students said that we would never have harmonious life without the CPC's strong leadership and the country's prosperity and strength. As party members and teachers and students who have worked and grown up under the banner of red, we should not forget the beginning and move forward.
