Professor Ji Xinying from Henan University Won the Second Prize of Overseas Contribution Award

On the morning of June 15th, the opening ceremony of “the Seventh New Overseas Chinese Entrepreneurship and Innovations Exchange” was held in the small hall of the Great Hall of the People, Beijing, and nearly eight hundred people participated in it. Professor Ji, representing all prize-winners in Henan Province, attended the Seventh Overseas Contribution Award Ceremony in Beijing, with the honor of winning the Second Prize of Overseas Contribution Award.

Professor Ji was employed by Henan University’s School of Medical Science after he returned to China in 2009. During the past 9 years, Professor Ji, with a sense of patriotism and a devoting heart, had made great contributions to recruiting high-level personnel, platform construction, scientific researches, community feedback and so on. At the same time, he kept contributing himself in scientific researches, accompanying several high-level SCI essays been published. What’s more, he and his team formed a Nucleoprotein Gene International United Laboratory in December, 2017, which received wild admiration as the pioneer of Henan province. By virtue of numerous proficient deeds that he did for Overseas Federation, Henan medical field and Henan University, Professor Ji received wide appreciation from the judges of overseas Chinese Federation experts committee as well.

The Overseas Chinese Contribution Award was set by Overseas Chinese Federation in 2003, aiming to exhibit the achievements that new overseas Chinese obtained after their returning to motherland, as a result of which, attracting more overseas Chinese elites to go back to China. There were 104 people selected and awarded in the Seventh Overseas Chinese Contribution Award, with 38 people gaining the First Prize and 66 people gaining the Second Prize.
